11th International Coaching Conference Scheduled November 1-4, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 2, 2006 – In three weeks, November 1-4, St. Louis, Missouri, will host the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) 11th International Coaching Conference 2006 “Quantum Thinking on Human Potential” at the St. Louis Renaissance Grand Hotel. Thousands of professional coaches from all over the world will assemble to share best practices and learn from one another. In the past ten years, one of the fastest growing occupational titles domestically as well as globally has been that of “Coach.”

ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) Meryl Moritz, who is a leadership coach herself and principal of the NY-based coaching firm Meryl Moritz Resources, will be one of four MCCs who will demonstrate coaching to the entire convocation. Meryl Moritz to Speak at International Coach Federation NYC Conference on October 4, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 1, 2006 – Executive coaching is something heard of but seldom seen except by the privileged few whose companies hire coaches for them or who are willing to foot the bill on their own. To demystify the subject, Executive Coach Meryl Moritz and one of her Australian clients, entrepreneur and world-traveler Katie Gallagher, will be on stage at the International Coach Federation’s – NYC Coaching Conference at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2006 for a live coaching demonstration called “Do the Bright Thing.”

Moritz, who is a certified master coach, says that executive coaching is an evocative experience for both the coach and the person being coached. “The coach begins a cross-examination of her client, first attempting to understand who this person is, and then learning what he or she really wants from coaching. The questioning is never random but rather builds to a point where action is the natural next step. The ultimate objective is to create an environment where insights abound. Often the coach is pelted with insights herself. It is a very empowering proposition for both parties.”

“Coach” – One Of The Fastest Growing Occupational Titles

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – August  18, 2004 – In the past ten years, one of the fastest growing occupational titles in the country has been “Coach.” With the proliferation of coaches, a public concern arose: what skills make a good coach (or a coach good)? The International Coach Federation (ICF), a world-wide association of professional coaches, addresses this concern with its rigorous certification process. “Master Certified Coach” or “MCC” is the highest of three levels of credentials awarded by the ICF.

In July, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Meryl Moritz, MCC and Principal of the organizational coaching firm Meryl Moritz Resources, will join the faculty of New York University’s Center for Management in the School of Continuing Professional Studies.

Ms. Moritz began her coaching career after 8 years as a management consultant, preceded by 7 years as a senior executive in two global corporations. She founded Meryl Moritz Resources to help organizations create coaching cultures in which leaders are masters of dialogue and respecters of the contributions of all players on their team.

As an ICF credentialing examiner, Ms. Moritz will bring the ICF’s standards into her teaching of the next generation of leadership coaches. She will be facilitating classes on the foundations of coaching, related disciplines, theory, and skills. She will supervise studies of students who are aiming to earn certification from NYU as an organizational and executive coach and ultimately examine their competencies in a final Master Class setting.

International Coach Federation European Coaching Conference – May 18-20 in Brussels

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May  1, 2004 – In two weeks, May 18-20, Brussels, capital of Europe, will host the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) European Coaching Conference 2006 (ECC 2006). Hundreds of professional coaches from all over the world will assemble to share best practices and learn from one another. The two will share the process by which they coached all members of the corporationís senior management and trained senior management to in turn coach their direct reports to successful adoption of a new organizational structure.

The HR Forum 2004

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October  1, 2003 – When the luxury ocean liner Norwegian Dawn sails out of New York Harbor on May 13th, 2004, Executive Coach Meryl Moritz will be one of the invited guests, but with a mission. That mission is to help human resources executives in the floating HR Forum 2004 take a breather and do for themselves what they usually help others do: focus on their personal and professional hopes and dreams, and devise strategies for achieving them.
